THIS YEAR

Learn to work with seasonal energies in a way that honours your own fluctuating energy levels, so you can pace yourself throughout the entire year.

No rigid plans, no pressure—just a supportive framework to help you create in tune with nature’s rhythms and your own.

WHY I CREATED THIS RESOURCE

Step Outside of Capitalist Timekeeping
and Productivity Culture

Our energy doesn’t move in straight lines. It ebbs and flows, expands and contracts, much like the seasons themselves. But productivity culture tells us we should be in a constant state of output, always growing, always producing—and that if we slow down, we’re falling behind.

I wanted a way to work with how creative practice fits into our lives over a year in a way that feels natural—that embraces cycles of growth, rest, and renewal instead of forcing a constant push forward. A way to reflect and honour the full rhythm of a creative life.

Seasonal living is an antidote to capitalism’s relentless pace. Nature is a wise teacher, reminding us that we are meant to move through cycles—not force ourselves into constant productivity.

WHO’S IT FOR

The Seasonal Creator Almanac might be for you if…

  • You want to understand how seasonal energy influences both your life and creative practice—because winter and summer are very different moods.

  • You’re drawn to working with your natural ebbs and flows rather than trying to pretend you’re always switched on.

  • You crave both change and rhythm—seasonal cycles offer us both. (Basically, you want structure, but not too much structure.)

  • You want to reflect on how things might unfold energetically before diving into detailed plans that could lead to tears.

  • You’re ready to step away from annualized thinking—the belief that there’s time later in the year to make those forgotten New Year’s plans come to life.

  • You want to shift away from seasonless productivity and embrace a more natural rhythm. (Because who’s the same person in February and August?)

  • You want to deepen your connection to the natural world, which you know is good for your mental health.

  • The philosophy of slow living resonates—not as an aesthetic, but as a way of pacing yourself. (Nothing against linen dresses and sourdough starter—I love both.)

  • You want a creative practice that sustains you for the whole year, not just in fits and starts. Because the ‘I’ll-get-back-to-it-later’ cycle? We all know how that ends.

A NOTE FOR THOSE WHO BOUGHT ANY OF THE ORIGINAL FOUR SEASONS WORBOOKS
If you purchased the old seasonal workbooks one at a time, The Seasonal Creator Almanac is a whole new experience. The seasonal workbooks have been deeply revised and expanded—plus, the almanac now includes brand-new sections like Closing Out the Year and Year-Ahead Visioning. More depth, more guidance, more ways to support your creative practice.

WHEN TO BEGIN
The almanac follows the natural rhythm of the seasons, recognizing spring as nature’s new year—a time of fresh energy and new life. You might begin around the Spring Equinox, but you can also jump in at the start of any season. If reflecting on the past or visioning ahead doesn’t feel timely, simply begin with the season you’re in or about to enter.

The Closing Out the Year and Year-Ahead Visioning workbooks will be there whenever the moment feels right.

ACKNOWLEDGING SEASONAL CONTEXT
This almanac is shaped by the four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—but seasons don’t look the same everywhere. If you live in a place where seasonal shifts feel different, or if your personal rhythms follow a different cycle, this framework is flexible.

Rather than rigid definitions, this almanac invites you to tune into the energetic themes of each season:

  • Spring – fresh starts, emergence, and growth

  • Summer – expansion, playfulness, ripening

  • Autumn – harvesting, deepening, letting go

  • Winter – quiet, dreaming, deep rest

Feel free to adapt these ideas in ways that honour your natural rhythms.

HOW TO ACCESS
After purchasing, you’ll receive an instant download of The Seasonal Creator Almanac as a reusable and printable PDF (not a fillable form) that is designed to be used year after year. The PDF is single-sided, designed for letter-sized paper, and prints well in
greyscale without using up a ton of ink. It’s home printer-friendly!

A NOTE

How The Almanac Differs From The Planner

For those familiar with The Seasonal Creator Workbook & Planner, The Seasonal Creator Almanac offers a complementary but distinct approach. While the planner provides practical, day-to-day tools and frameworks for your practice, the almanac focuses on the big picture—exploring your creative rhythms, setting intentions, and connecting with nature’s yearly cycles. Designed as a year-long companion, it offers a broader perspective compared to the planner’s season-by-season focus.

Together, the planner and almanac complement each other—one supporting you over three months, and the other guiding you through the entire year. Used in tandem, they create a holistic approach to creativity, aligning with both your personal rhythms and the cycles of nature.
